Effective Date: 01/01/2025

Welcome to Virtuous Premiere Psychiatry. By accessing our services—whether in person, virtually, or through our website—you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect your rights as a client and uphold the integrity, confidentiality, and clinical standards of our care.

1. Services Provided
We offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and specialty services including holistic treatments and virtual reality-assisted therapy. All care is provided by licensed and credentialed healthcare professionals.

2. Eligibility
Clients must be:
-
At least 18 years old (or have parental/legal guardian consent)
-
Located in a state in which our provider is licensed to practice
-
Compliant with recommended treatment plans to continue care
We reserve the right to discontinue services if safety, legal, or ethical concerns arise.

3. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. All client records, communications, and sessions are private and protected. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are available upon request, especially for high-profile clients.

4. Payment & Billing
Services are private-pay basis. NO INSURANCE IS ACCEPTED. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made. Missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may incur a fee.

5. Telehealth Services
Telepsychiatry services are offered through HIPAA-compliant platforms. Clients must ensure they are in a private, secure setting during virtual visits. Telehealth may not be suitable for all clinical needs; in such cases, in-person care may be recommended.

6. Technology Disclaimer
While we use secure and professional-grade technology, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to third-party platform issues or user-side technical limitations. We are not responsible for delays, miscommunications, or data loss caused by internet outages or software failures.

7. Medical Disclaimer
All services are intended to support mental health and wellness but are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

8. Use of Website
Information on our website is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our website content without express written permission.

9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any revised terms.

10. Virtual Reality Therapy Disclaimer
Virtual Reality (VR) therapy is an optional, therapeutic tool used to promote relaxation and mental clarity through immersive, calming environments. While generally safe, some clients may experience temporary side effects such as dizziness, vertigo, nausea, eye strain, or disorientation.
By choosing to participate in VR therapy, you acknowledge these potential effects and agree to discontinue use and inform your provider immediately if symptoms occur. Clients with a history of seizures, motion sensitivity, or balance issues should consult with their provider before beginning VR sessions. Use of VR is entirely voluntary and can be adjusted or stopped at any time for your safety and comfort.
